Description:

In an effort to circumvent the racism of an affluent, segregated Boston suburb, the Taylors-an African-American couple-enlist an Irish family to buy a house on their behalf. Fifty years later, the Irish family wants "their house" back. Themes of home and America are explored in this staged reading.

Seeing men and women of all ages and ethnic groups. African - Americans strongly encouraged to audition.

Auditions will be held at 1600 East Golf Road Des Plaines, Il., 60201

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals will be weeknights, 7:00 - 10:00 (based on actors conflicts) and some weekend days near opening. Performances are Saturday, May 2 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 pm.

Material To Prepare:

Prepared monologues and cold readings will be heard.
