Level 11 Productions is holding auditions for its production of Eric Bogosian's Suburbia.
Suburbia is a coming of age story about three best friends who are trying to find their purpose in life within their lost world of the American suburb. They struggle with the trials and tribulations of growing up with an uncertain future while desperately clinging on the memories they long to relive.
Seeking:
A company of 12 actors.
Auditions will take place April 10th from 6-10pm, and April 11th from 1-6pm at Links Hall, 2nd floor, 956 West Newport Ave.
Callbacks (If needed) will be held on Sunday April 12th at MCL Chicago from 12pm till 3pm. All Roles are Open.
Rehearsals will begin in late June and go through July. Tech will be July 27th, 28th, and 29th. Previews will be July 30th and 31st. Performances will take place at the Athenaeum Theatre from August 1st through the 30th on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Please prepare one contemporary monologue that appeals to the nitty gritty style of Suburbia. Comedic or dramatic, 60-90 seconds in length. We love to see honest and bold work.
Please be familiar with the script, as there is a possibility of a cold reading (especially for callbacks).
