Diana: (Lead) mezzo with strong belt; to play late 30s-early 40s; the mother, smart, sharp, sexy; put-together suburban soccer mom with an urban sensibility; delusional, bipolar, and depressive; constantly on the edge of a breakdown. Range: G3 - F#5

Dan: (Lead) bari-tenor, to play late 30s-early 40s; the father; a handsome, dependable, devoted husband and father, beginning to grow frustrated and tired. Range: Ab2 - B4

Gabe: (Lead) tenor, to play 18; the son, the perfect teenager; bright and thoughtful, athletic and handsome, playful yet dangerous. Range: B2 - C5

Natalie: (Lead) mezzo with strong belt, to play 16; the daughter, intelligent, hard-working, and stressed; ironic and whip smart; her world could shatter at any moment; piano skills are a plus. Range: G3 - G5

Henry: (Supporting) tenor, to play 17; the boyfriend, a musician, a philosopher, a hipster, and a stoner; optimist, he is loving, charming, and adorable. Range: G#2 - B4

Doctor Madden: (Supporting) bari-tenor-tenor, "on the young side of ageless;" the doctor, confident and successful with a powerful presence, calm and steady, glimmers of a rock star from his youth. Range: A2 - A4
