Oil Lamp Theater is holding open auditions for its 2015 season which includes such plays as Never the Bridesmaid by Bill Jepsen, Bleacher Bums by Joe Mantegna, Jest a Second by James Sherman, and It's a Wonderful Life by Joe Landry. Auditions will be held Saturday, March 21st, starting at 10 AM and Monday, March 23rd, starting at 5PM.
Casting men and women ages 20-60.
Never the Bridesmaid
Runs June 25th-July 26th
Maria: 30's. Widowed once, divorced twice
Anthony: Maria's twin, 30's
Elmer: Maria and Anthony's father, 60's
Doris: Maria and Anthony's mother, 60's
Therese- A friend, 30's, engaged multiple times.
Kathleen- A friend, 30's
Brian- A friend from childhood, recently returned home, 30's
Bleacher Bums
Runs August 6th- September 13th
Melody- an attractive and serious sun-worshipper
Greg- a gentle young man in his 20's. He has been blind since birth.
Zig- a large man in his 50's. He is able to bellow and chew on a cigar simultaneously.
Decker- a sucessful, energetic businessman, around 40 years old
Richie- in his 20's. His personal habits and hygiene are disgusting.
Marvin- a professional gambler, 30 or so.
Cheerleader- a hyperactive teenage fanatic
Rose- Zig's wife of 30 years and a closet club fan.

Runs September 24th - November 8th

Harry Heywood, portrays the angel Clarence, Bert the cop, George's brother, and others.
Freddie Filmore, the radio announcer, portrays Mr. Potter, and others.
Lana Sherwood, portrays Violet Bick, George's mother, Zuzu, and others.
Please prepare 2 comedic monologues, not to exceed 3 minutes total.
