Description:

Commedia Beauregard is looking for 9 actors of various types to join the cast of its next Master Works festival. Men and women of any age (18+), ethnicity and body-type are invited to audition.

This production is made up of six short plays based on the works of art from Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art's permanent collection. Six playwrights, six works of art, six new plays! Plays are by local playwrights Kevin Alves, Jackie Davies, Brenda E. Kelly, Christopher Kidder-Mostrom, Laura Nessler and Caity-Shea Violette. Directed by Derek Bertelsen, Niki Dreistadt, Charlotte Drover, Jonathan Goldthwait, Shandee Vaughan, and Brittany Westfall. The show offers a wide range of plays and artwork unlike any other.

Time Commitment:

Performances are April 2-4 and 9-11 at Intuit (756 N Milwaukee). Each play will have approximately five rehearsals in February-March, scheduled to accommodate each director and set of actors. Each actor may be cast in 2 plays. Must be available for tech rehearsals between March 28 and April 1.

Material To Prepare:

The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. Auditions will be held in 15 minute slots.
