The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Midwest Premiere) by Dwayne Hartford, adapted from the book by Kate DiCamillo Directed by Kathryn Walsh

Synopsis: Edward is a vain and selfish toy rabbit, made of the finest china in the world. When he is lost on an ocean voyage, Edward is given unique witness to spectacular displays of human emotion, and begins to learn the true meaning of love. From the acclaimed author of "The Tales of Desperaux", this magical and family-friendly journey will introduce a cast of unforgettable characters to the Filament audience.

We are looking for a woman 20s-40s with an adventurous, playful spirit, excited by being part of a 4-actor ensemble, and interested in the craft of storytelling. This role requires physical and emotional dexterity, as there are multiple shifts of character throughout, and experience in movement-based theatre is desirable. Women of diverse ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to submit.

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals: December 7th - February 5th. (No rehearsal from 12/19 thru 1/2) Performances: February 6, 2015 - March 15, 2015 (Saturday & Sunday)
