Pride Films & Plays is holding auditions for actors of all types for the 5th Annual Gay Film Weekend. The weekend is from November 14-16, 2014 and will feature enhanced staged readings of the five finalists from Pride Films & Plays' 2014 Great Gay Screenplay Contest. The finalists are: 1974 by Chris Halligan Agent Call Boy by James Rosenfield The Celestial by Barry Brennessel Chance Meetings by John Woodard How to Be a Homosexual by JB Berg The readings will include some blocking and design elements, though actors will still use scripts. Each reading will require approximately 3 rehearsals and a tech. All readings will take place at the Center on Halsted's Hoover-Leppen Theatre.

Auditions will be held at Center on Halsted, Room 204 (3656 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL 6061). Auditions will take place on Sunday, October 26th from 9AM-12PM.

There is no pay, but actors selected for the reading will receive free admission to any of the reading and screenings during Gay Film Weekend.
