Description:
A fully gender-swapped adaptation of Shakespear's "King Lear", exploring jealousy, loyalty, dementia, violence, and gender representation in "classical" theater. Actors of all physical types, ethnicities, and gender presentations are encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held at Burghley House 4154 W Berteau Ave, Chicago, IL 60641

Rehearsals: Dec 1-Feb 5 (break Dec 19-Jan 4) Mon-Thurs evenings Tech: Feb 9-12, Run: Feb 13-22
Material To Prepare:
One dramatic monologue less than 3 min, Shakespeare or similar. Please bring your schedule information for the period indicated.
