"Christmas on the Air" will be casting a company to be performed at Provision Theater Company, 1001 W Roosevelt Rd Chicago.
A musical play Lucia Frangione and directed by Provision Theater's Artistic Director, Timothy Gregory. "Christmas on the Air" is a popular hit from the Pacific Northwest and a new holiday classic for Chicago about Yolanda and Percival B. Frank's annual Christmas radio show including a "live studio audience". Filled with classic Christmas music and stories.
Provision Theater is searching for a non-union, comic leading man type. Ages 20-35 for the role of Danny "the Kid" Frank: The Frank's son, and the "Go Boy" of CKOS, Young and in love with Kitty. Must be able to sing and hold harmony.
"Christmas on the Air" engages a limited number of Actor's Equity members under a Cat 1 agreement as well as non-union performers. "Christmas on the Air" is staged and directed by Timothy Gregory, and presented by Provision Theater Company.
Rehearsals start Oct. 27 and will take place primarily Monday thru Friday, 6:00 PM to 10 PM, until tech week, which will involve weekend rehearsals.
Previews: Wednesday November 26 and Friday November 28
Opening: Saturday November 29
Closing: Sunday December 28
Performances: Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 3:00 PM
