Description:

Harold Washington College will be holding auditions for A View from the Bridge, by Arthur Miller, directed by Kathryn Nash. Auditions will take place on the first floor, Room 103, Washington Hall, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Sept. 8, 9, and 10, from 6 - 8 PM. Callbacks, by invitation only, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and Thursday, Sept. 18.

There are roles for 6 - 7 men ages 20 - 50, and 2 women, ages 18 - 40s. All roles are available, all ethnicities. A tenor vocal range is required for one man, age 20's. In addition, it will be required that the actor cast in this role has blonde hair, tinted or natural. Loop Players is a theatre company within Harold Washington College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago and a community college. Located in downtown Chicago, Loop Players welcomes both students and community members to audition.

Time Commitment:

Evening rehearsals start Sept. 22, 2014. The show runs Nov. 12 - 15 and Nov. 19 - 22.

Material To Prepare:

Please prepare one 1 -2 minute contemporary monologue. If auditioning for the male tenor, be prepared to sing one a cappella solo of your choice in addition to a monologue.
