Really Really

Pay: $200 Stipend

Description:

Interrobang Theatre Project is accepting submissions for the role "JOHNSON" (African American male, college age) in the Midwest Premiere of REALLY REALLY by Paul Downs Colaizzo. Directed by Co-Artistic Director James Yost.

JOHNSON:

African American man. College senior. Rugby player. Studious. Has worked very hard to become the man that he wants to be - he knows that there are too many ways to screw up his future and he will not allow that. Well rounded, uptight, goal-oriented. Honest to a fault. Hates parties. Sleeps around.

Casting Note: All of the characters attend an Ivy League university. All of these characters are smart and fast-talking. They are texting almost constantly. They all have that sort of thing to them - they're hot, they're athletic, they're funny, and you just want to like them.

Auditions will be scheduled on a rolling basis and at a mutually convenient time. Sides will be provided. The script is available to read on our website (password protected page).

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals begin mid-December. Runs February 13-March 15 at the Athenaeum Theatre.
