GreenMan's murder mystery dinner theatre will return to Angelo's this coming February, and auditions are right around the corner. Speakeasy or Die Hard is GreenMan Theatre Troupe's next show, an interactive murder mystery dinner production.
GreenMan board member Carolyn Thomas-Davidoff, who directed last winter's popular Honeymoon from Hell, will direct the show.
GreenMan is in their sixth season, and have presented a dinner theatre mystery every year as a fundraiser to help support the group. Speakeasy or Die Hard takes place in a Prohibition Era speakeasy. Spies and assassins are everywhere, as murder, intrigue and confusion reign. The guests try to help a hapless detective solve a mysterious mob killing. The production will also feature songs from the 1920's and '30's.
There are roles for at least four women and four men.
Rehearsals for the show begin early in January.
Performances begin February 19 and run two weekends through February 28 at Angelo's Ristorante in Elmhurst.
Actors wishing to audition for a singing role are encouraged to bring a prepared song.
