Human Combat Chess is a sport, where two teams of 16 athletes are the pieces on a chess board. Whenever a team wishes to take a square, however, two of the pieces must compete, with swords, shields, staffs, and more swords.
The chess game, and the fights, will be set beforehand. We are looking for actors and athletes who have a passion for stage combat, and a strong physical presence. We are seeking actors and actresses of any age and ethnicity. This is a heavily physical show, and will be cast accordingly.
Auditions will be held at 2500 West Wilson Chicago, IL
Rehearsals are weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons April 28-June 11.
Shows ar 12, 13, 19, and 20 (TH/F)
No performer will be called for all rehearsals. We are willing to work around your schedule!
No need to prepare anything, just be ready to move. Auditions will consist of learning and performing a staged fight.
