We are currently looking for female dancers (or actresses with movement training) to join our cast of Kiss Kiss Coquettes. (Burlesque experience is preferred). We are not auditioning for singers, comedians or variety performers at this time.
Auditions will be held at Uptown Underground 4707 N Broadway
While it is a fun and rewarding show, our Coquettes have a mandatory rehearsal every Monday from 7-9pm and are expected to perform on two Fridays of any given month. (Call time is 10pm for our 11pm shows.) Dancers perform two group numbers and two solo performances, per show. There is pay. We are also casting "Cigarette Girls" for our show. CGs perform in two shows a month as well. Occasionally, they also perform in the Group Numbers of the show, help set the stage for soloists and remove discard costumes. This is a good position for beginning burlesque performers. Many of our CGs have graduated up to be coquettes in our show.
