Description:
Chicago Fusion Theatre is now accepting headshots and resumes for JB by Archibald MacLeish.

Seeking Non-Equity men and women of all ages. Especially seeking performers that have real training and experience with clowning, movement or dance, juggling, or any circus arts.

JB is the retelling of Job’s story, set amidst the circus world with two ominous vendors, assuming the roles of God and Satan. J.B. and his wife Sarah are pushed to the edges of grief and despair by the loss of everything they once held on to. Fused with live music, movement and ideas all to familiar in America; economic downturn, war fatigue, and partisan politics. The story of J.B. like Job is one that has stood the test of time, one that we cannot escape because it is so true. The suffering of another human, one who is good and righteous and free of reproach and his quest for justice.
