West Side Story moves Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to the tough streets of 1950's Hell's Kitchen in New York. Two gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, struggle for their place in society, as a boy and girl from these opposing gangs meet and fall in love. West Side Story is the classic American musical of love and hate on the streets of New York.
