Let's Misbehave Musical

Pay: Yes

Description:

Seeking AEA and non AEA submissions. It's late one night in the glamorous 1930's, and in Dorothy's stylish New York apartment, a swell party's just coming to its end. Three witty friends linger in the wee hours over a nightcap and some delicious dishing about the departing guests. When one of the sophisticated trio asks "if we're so grand, how come each of us is going home solo tonight?" the three make a pact to find someone to fall in love with by the fourth of July. It's all in good fun until, as the hour gets later and the martinis get drier, it becomes clear that the two lovely ladies have each set their heart on the same leading man.

Walter (Tenor) - Smart, attractive, a man about town who makes up for his lack of means with a great sense of humor and of style. Late 20's to late 30's.

Dorothy (Alto) - Outspoken, a bit bawdy, anything but an ingenue. anywhere from 30's to 40s. She's been around and has a wicked sense of humor.

Alice (Mezzo-Soprano) - Younger and somewhat softer than Dorothy. A bit of a romantic, but no simp. Lively and lovely.
