The Traveling Players seek two additional actors for their collaborative summer production of As You Like It. Auditions are from 10 AM - 12 PM on Saturday, April 20th at the Hamlin Park Fieldhouse.
Roles:
Charles/Jaques (Double cast): Charles is the Duke's wrestler, conniving with the evil Oliver at the beginning of the play and wrestling Orlando. Stage Combat experience necessary. Jaques is the melancholy lord famous for his "Ages of Man" speech.
Oliver: Orlando's evil brother who connives against him with the wrestler Charles, but undergoes a transformation and falls in love with Celia by the end of the play.
Company Meeting and Read Through is set for 7 pm Sunday, May 5th. Rehearsals (Monday-Thursday) begin July 8th, with the week of July 10-13 off, continuing through opening. Performances are Saturdays at 2 & 5 PM, Sundays at 1 & 4 PM, August 17-25.
