Description:
Coriolis Theater Company presents the world premiere of Teeny Travel Takes a Trip, a play with songs by Aaron Ricciardi. This trippy dystopian comedy imagines a future America controlled by a despotic Mr. Ruler. Here, regulations run high, and international travel is outlawed for all but one man: Mr. Travel, the host of Travelbration, a state-run television show--and the only one in the country -- on which he visits the other countries in the world and exposes how terrible they are. Meanwhile, the American people stay in fear and on their couches. But when Mr. Travel's rule-breaking daughter Teeny discovers that her father is actually part of an evil plot to keep the public in the dark, she decides to take him and Mr. Ruler down, armed with nothing but her housekeepers, young love, and a few ditties.
