Description:
The Viaduct Theater is holding auditions for Stephen Sondheim's Assassins.
Auditions for the leading role of Leon Czolgosz. We are casting age/physicality appropriate for this role and are looking for a dark featured, late 20's man with a rich baritone voice.
Auditions will take place July 32 from 11am-5pm at the 2nd Unitarian Church, 656 West Barry Ave., Chicago, IL 60657.
Time Commitment:
Performances October 10th - November 12th 2012 at the Viaduct TheaterRehearsals begin with a mandatory read-through on July 23rd and Staging rehearsals begin August 11th through Opening on October 12th (There may be 1-1 music rehearsals to get you up to speed with the Music Director privately).
Material To Prepare:
Please prepare a 1 minute dramatic monologue of your choice, and 32 bars of a contemporary musical, preferably Sondheim, that showcases your vocal range. It is acceptable for you to choose a song directly from the show. Bring a headshot and resume.
