Description:
GreenMan Theatre Troupe will be holding auditions for William Shakespeare's timeless tragedy Macbeth. Auditions will be held on Sunday August 19 at 1 PM, Monday August 20 at 7 PM and Tuesday August 21 at 7 PM. Auditions will be held in Asbury Hall at First United Methodist Church at 232 S. York in Elmhurst.
There will be a need for a minimum of 16 actors, and total may increase depending on amount of doubling. Some roles will require doubling. Depending on audition turnout, genders of certain roles in ensemble may be altered. For youth roles, junior high age children would be most suitable.

Women: Lady Macbeth, Lady Macduff, 3 witches [a man could be cast as one of the witches], gentlewoman [d]

Youth: Fleance [d], Macduff's son [d], young Siward [d]

Dates of the production are the weekends between October 19-November 4, 2012.
Material To Prepare:
Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script.
