Description:
Gorilla Tango Burlesque (Provocative Parody for the Discerning Nerd) is seeking female comic actresses of all colors, shapes, and sizes who move well and are comfortable with their bodies to join the Geek Girls for our next production, Boobs of the Dead: A Walking Dead Burlesque. The show is a parody of the TV Show The Walking Dead and features apocalypse survivors battling the beautiful, sparkly undead. We are casting zombies, humans, speaking roles, smaller additional roles and ensemble dance rolls.
Auditions will be held in one-hour blocks on:
TH, July 19th from 7pm till 9pm
SAT, July 21st from 10am till 12pm
Callbacks will be on MON, July 23 from 6 pm-8pm
Performers are paid a percentage of ticket sales plus tips.
NOTE: This is a sketch comedy burlesque production. All roles perform classic burlesque striptease and will appear in panties and pasties. Please do not audition unless you are comfortable undressing in front of an audience! You must be 21 or older to audition!!!
Time Commitment:
There will be some rehearsal and costume fittings in August and heavier rehearsals in September/October. The show opens the first weekend of October at Gorilla Tango Theater and runs once a week on FRI or SAT for a minimum of 8 weeks.
