Description:

The Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company is holding auditions for principals and chorus for our March 9-12 2012 production of Gondoliers. We perform in Mandel Hall on the Campus of the University of Chicago.

Auditions will be held at The Fulton Recital Hall 4th floor of Goodspeed Hall, 1010 East 59th St. Chicago, IL 60637.

Time Commitment:

Rehearsals start Sunday Jan 22, 2012 Initially: Sunday afternoon all cast and twice weekly evenings chorus and principals. Last 3 weeks including tech all cast calls most rehearsals.

Material To Prepare:

Principals should be prepared to sing a G&S song preferably a song for the auditioned part. A short dialogue reading may be required. Auditions for the chorus should sing something that best demonstrates their vocal range.
