Anne of Green Gables Reviews
Chicago Reader- Somewhat Recommended
"...But you can't squeeze such a rich novel into 70 minute of stage time without losing something, and Gregory's adaptation rarely rises above being just barely good enough. Making matters worse, this Provision Theater Company production, also directed by Gregory, is very uneven, with some scenes and characters that easily win over the audience, and others that risk putting us to sleep. It doesn't help that Mary-Margaret Roberts never quite captures the full, fascinating complexity of the eponymous protagonist."
