Poetry by Shakespeare, Dante, and Robert Frost enhance the music, and for those inclined there's complimentary wassail and figgy pudding (full dinner service is also available)."

"...Under the smooth musical direction of Aaron Benham and Jeremy Ramey, the cast of three men and three women does great work where it counts: the songs. Their harmonies fill the intimate space with lush sound, particularly during their renditions of Edward Elgar’s melancholy “The Snow” and a gorgeous a cappella “In the Bleak Midwinter.” The second half of the show contains rousing contemporary numbers, including Missy Aguilar’s touching “Snowbird,” Molly Kral’s passionate “Santa Baby,” and an ingenious pairing of the aforementioned “Winter” and “River” sung by Greg Foster and Andrew Sickel. Even with its faults, the music of A Very Merry Madrigal is strong enough to make it a worthwhile production for hardcore fans of holiday music. "
