A Streetcar Named Desire

A Streetcar Named Desire

A Streetcar Named Desire, Tennessee Williams most acclaimed work, is coming back to Chicago stages in a new, bold and daring production directed by Aaron Mitchell Reese and Christopher Jackson. This gut-wrenching tug-of-war centers around the brute Stanley Kowalski's struggle to maintain the power in his household from the mentally fragile Blanche Dubois. In a romanticized realistic take on Williams' work, the highly diverse cast personifies the melting pot of New Orleans' relatively warm and easy intermingling of races. This marks the first production Pulse Theatre Company Chicago.
