A Christmas Carol

McAninch Arts Center
425 Fawell Blvd Glen Ellyn

For 16 years in a row, audiences in Glen Ellyn have joined Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and good old Ebenezer Scrooge on his harrowing journey from grumpy bah-humbugger to holiday believer in A Christmas Carol. In Charles Dickens' timeless classic, the miserly businessman Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas with the help of three spirits -- the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. First published in 1873, the novella became a critical success, and its story has yet to be improved upon. This lavish, 70-minute production at the McAninch Arts Center is perfect for the whole family.
