Chicago Reader - Somewhat Recommended

"...Structurally, it's a semipoetic police procedural, except it hardly proceeds. Rather it ricochets for two hours among telling moments from Griggs's interviews with members of the preternaturally vitriolic Harper family-each of whom has a motive for killing Ellie, especially her boyfriend, squirrely high-schooler Kevin-without escalating the stakes or tension. And in director Scott Westerman's disjointed production, the Harpers are less a family than splenetic strangers. Woldman's admirable dialogue far outshines his plotting."

The clever twists and possibilities are played out with a unique twist that will surprise you. I found the Interrogation contains the main elements of a worthy dark comedy: strangely believable characters pitted in situations that reveal buried secrets. We easily get intrigued by these misfits and we are on the edge of our seats throughout."

I want to see INTERROGATION again for its Sixth Sense quality."

"...Interrogation sets an ominous scene before the lights go down, thanks to Judy Radovsky and Anders Jacobson’s haunting set and Thomas Dixon’s sound design. If only the ensuing two hours were as compelling. Interrogation is a gratuitous, mean-spirited disappointment, with gaping plot holes, a dull framework and cliché after cliché. Though she’s a major character in flashbacks, perhaps Ellie did the right thing by disappearing from the action."
